Interviews and oral tests check whether you understand your work and can communicate it clearly. The MEK oral pages on ClassZee are a good source of practice questions.
A reliable answer shape
- Say what the item or task is in one sentence.
- Explain its purpose.
- List what you would check or do, in order.
- Mention the safety step that applies.
Practise aloud
Reading answers silently is not enough. Cover the answer using Revision mode on the oral pages, say your answer aloud, then compare.
Be honest
If you do not know something, say so and explain how you would find out or whom you would ask. Never guess about safety-critical tasks.
Keep calm and clear
Short, calm answers in plain words are better than long memorised paragraphs.
